The Jars

At R.A. & J.S. Fletcher and Sons, one of the more key features to the shop is the array of over 200 jars we have on display in the shop selling a wide sellection of products from Dried Fruit, Nuts & Seeds, Pulses & Grains, Cereals, Confectionary and Herbs & Spices.

All the products in the jars are sold loose to the customers requirements which over the years this way of selling the products has become increasingly more popular as customers can buy just exactly what they need compared to having to buy a packet. In many cases this not only can work out to be better value and quality but also works out a more economical way to buy along with being ecological by using less packaging. The jars are an attraction that have brought people from far and wide to see because apart from them being something you very rarely see these days, but also because many of the products sold are not easy to obtain from many other places.
