Explaining the MGO Certification System:
All Manuka Health products are scientifically tested and varified to ensure you get the full health benifits of a consistant quality product. Manuka Health certifies its manuka honey products based on the methylglyoxal level so for example if the honey was 100 MGO this means the contains at least 100mg of methylglyoxal per KG.
The conversion table below shows how to match the MGO system against the older system
5+ = MGO 30
10+ = MGO 100
16+ = MGO 250
20+ = MGO 400
25+ = MGO 550
